At Utterbond Subscription, we offer a Shopify app designed to streamline your subscription management. To ensure transparency in our pricing, this document clarifies how transaction fees are calculated based on the subscription plan you select.

   • Fee: 3% of every subscription order.
2. Starter Plan
   • Fee: $19/month + 1% of every subscription order.
3. Growth Plan
   • Fee: $29/month + 0.6% of every subscription order.
4. Enterprise Plan
   • Fee: $49/month + 0.3% of every subscription order.

Transaction Fees Calculation

Our transaction fees are charged based on the subtotal price of the order, which includes the following:

• Discounted amounts
• Taxes

However, the shipping rate is excluded from the transaction fee calculation.

• We charge the % fee if a subscription product is added to the order.
• The fee is calculated on the entire order, not just the subscription items.
• Example: If a customer adds 4 subscription products and 5 one-time products, the fee is calculated on the subtotal (including discounts and taxes but excluding shipping) of the entire order.

Suppose a customer places an order with the following details:

• Discount: $10
• Tax: $5
• Shipping: $8

Calculation:

• Subtotal after discount: $90 ($100 - $10)
• Subtotal including tax: $95 ($90 + $5)
• Subtotal excluding shipping: $95

If you are on the Starter Plan (1% fee), the transaction fee is calculated as:

• Transaction Fee = $95 * 1% = $0.95
